At BCM, there are three grant programs for which you may apply:

• Transom Grants 
  Unsolicited grant proposals are referred to as Transom Grants at BCM. Transom proposals encourage the development of new ideas and nurture inventive solutions to community problems. Applications are submitted by qualified, nonprofit organizations during our two semi-annual open transom cycles (February 15-28 and August 15-31).   Application Workshops:
  Twice a year, in January and July, workshops on the Transom Grant application process are conducted.  Topics covered include BCM grantmaking philosophies, eligibility criteria, application components and the review process.  Please click here for a registration form for the most recently scheduled workshop.
  
   
• Discretionary Donations Program
  This small grants program funds requests of $5,000 or less from qualified organizations. Typically fundraising events and sponsorships are supported through discretionary donations. In order to apply you may submit a discretionary donations application form any time of the year. Applications are reviewed and approved monthly. • Fund Development Consulting Initiative  
  The Fund Development Consulting Initiative is an in-kind grant program which provides capacity building and fundraising consulting services to nonprofit organizations in the five-parish area of greater New Orleans. Applications are accepted twice annually.
