Strategic Grantmaking
Strategic grants target the long-range goals in each area of interest set forth, and reviewed annually, by the BCM Board of Trustees. These grants are generated through Request for Proposals or by invitation.
Core Funding
Core Funding provides grants from BCM to a nonprofit organization simply because the mission of the grantee is considered extremely important to the community by the BCM Board of Trustees. Core Funding grants are not directly related to specific projects undertaken by the grantee and are intended to provide general infrastructure funding for extended periods. This program is by invitation only. The following are agencies currently receiving Core Funding grants:

Baptist Crossroads Foundation
Rebuilding of the Upper Ninth Ward - BCM funded a five year matching grant for Baptist Crossroads Foundation to partner with Habitat for Humanity to build new homes in the Upper Ninth Ward of New Orleans.
