MISSION
In response to the biblical challenge for community stewardship, Christian Health Ministries Foundation supports the voluntary not-for-profit provision of clinical chaplaincy, congregational wellness and pastoral education by The McFarland Institute and Christian Health Ministries through encouragement of charitable donations and philanthropy.

VISION
Christian Health Ministries Foundation will be the organization of choice for the Greater New Orleans Area in the fields of Congregational Wellness, Chaplaincy and Clinical Pastoral Education.

VALUES
Stewardship - Christian Health Ministries Foundation serves as a financial storehouse of community support for the work of The McFarland Institute.  Through sound investment and management of its assets, the Foundation advances the  Christian purposes of service and ecumenical education through The McFarland Institute and Christian Health Ministries.

Performance - Cost-effective, efficient methods of seeking financial support are employed to assure the highest proportion of funding directly for service and education.  Opportunities are created for annual, deferred (planned), and capital support to further the work of Christian Health Ministries and The McFarland Institute.

Ethical Behavior - Through full disclosure of the use of gifts, the Christian Health Ministries Foundation fairly and accurately presents giving opportunities to prospective donors.  The Foundation openly declares its relationship to The McFarland Institute and Christian Health Ministries in all solicitations and ensures gifts are applied to the purposes intended by the donors.
