Health Grants Program Director
BCM seeks a trained and experienced individual with knowledge of metropolitan area health programs, systems and strategies who is capable of guiding the development, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of evidence-based health policy and practice supported by BCM grant funds.
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate their experience with and working knowledge of:
- Federal, state and local policies that affect access to health services for vulnerable populations
- Research and applied evidence-based principles affecting a wide range of health outcomes, including but not limited to maternal and child health, social determinants of health, community violence reduction, behavioral health, preventive health/wellness practices and primary health services
- Characteristics and capacities required to help build and maintain effectively functioning networks of organizations within and across sectors to achieve collective impact
- Internal and external evaluation and technical assistance methods that support operational accountability, impact measurement, and capacity building within and among sector grantees
