Alvin David brings experience in data analysis, strategy, and policy to the BCM team. After completing an Education Pioneers fellowship with the Louisiana Recovery School District, he continued to lead key projects addressing special education, behavioral health, truancy and dropout prevention, and other equity initiatives. He led the design and implementation of the citywide funding model for all New Orleans public schools, and his work has built collaboration across community organizations and partners. Prior to working in New Orleans, he helped school districts in California manage data and leverage Medicaid to support their special education programs. Alvin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy of Industrial Societies from the University of California, Berkeley, with additional concentrations of study in public policy and global poverty.
