Inman J. Houston

President & CEO

Prior to joining BCM as its President & CEO in June 2022, Inman was Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA for 14 years. During his tenure, Inman led his church through a $5.5 million capital improvement project, instituted the launch of five new language missions, and deepened the church’s involvement with the larger civic community. From 2003 to 2008, he served as the Associate Pastor of Global Impact with First Baptist Church in New Orleans. Among other roles, he coordinated the church’s response to the community in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He served as the first director of the Baptist Crossroads Project, a homebuilding partnership with the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity that recruited over 10,000 volunteers to build many of the homes in Musicians’ Village.

A Georgia native, Inman received his Bachelor of Science in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Following graduation, he undertook a nine-month internship with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He also received both his Master of Divinity in Christian Thought and his Master of Theology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is presently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Executive Leadership at Gateway Seminary in California.
