Philip Peavey serves as a Chaplain at BCM, where he provides spiritual care to clients in drug and alcohol rehabilitation, facilitates spirituality groups, and supports both staff and clients as part of an interdisciplinary care team. He previously served nearly a decade with Global Maritime Ministries and later founded Hope Ministries of Greater New Orleans. His chaplaincy experience includes roles at Ochsner Medical Center and University Medical Center. A Board-Certified Chaplain through ACPE, Philip holds degrees in Educational Psychology and Religious Education and was named BCM’s Employee of the Year in 2022.
