Administrative Coordinator

Heather brings more than 18 years of administrative, operational, and leadership experience to Baptist Community Ministries. In her role, she supports day-to-day operations by coordinating meetings, maintaining records, and helping improve internal processes. Throughout her career, she has excelled at bringing structure to complex environments and developing practical solutions that improve efficiency and collaboration. Her background includes leading teams, managing compliance-focused initiatives, and implementing systems that enhance communication and accountability. Known for her resourcefulness and dependability, Heather is passionate about supporting both her colleagues and the organization’s mission, helping people and programs thrive.

• What’s a hobby or passion you enjoy? I enjoy making homemade jams and preserves, a tradition passed down from my great-grandmother. My personal favorite is a lemon-blueberry jam infused with Earl Grey tea.
• What’s the best part of your job? The opportunity to support BCM’s mission and see firsthand how its work strengthens and enriches the communities we serve.
• What’s your po’boy pick? Fried catfish from Parkway Bakery & Tavern.
• What’s your favorite parade? The Mystic Krewe of Barkus parade! I love seeing the creativity, energy, and four-legged participants.
• Which Louisiana festival is the best, in your opinion? Jazz Fest. It’s a joyful celebration of the music, culture, and community that make New Orleans so special.
