Chaplaincy Services

Keith Hanks serves as a Staff Chaplain at BCM, offering spiritual care and guidance to individuals during times of crisis and trauma, regardless of their religious background. Before joining BCM, Keith retired from the U.S. Navy in 2016 after 20 years of service as an electronics technician and corrections specialist. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Divinity in Chaplaincy. Keith is also a Board-Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains.

• What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received? Let God turn your lemons into lemonade.
• What’s a hobby or passion you enjoy? Spending time with my family playing games like Speed, Uno, and Trouble.
• What’s the best part of your job? Encouraging people to find and use hope in their lives is the most rewarding part of my work.
• What was your first job? In high school, I worked as a custodian’s assistant at the middle school I attended.
• What’s your favorite snoball flavor? It’s a tie between Droopy’s raspberry and Robear’s blackberry, both stuffed with vanilla ice cream.
